Do you have new video marketing toys this year? How is your marketing working out so far in 2016?
Did you know that 2016 is the Year of Video?
There Are So Many New Video Marketing Toys In The Marketplace – It’s Such A Fun Time To Be A Marketer!
When doing a little research for this article, I found some compelling evidence of just how important video marketing is, and will continue to be, for anyone looking to get leads, customers, and generally grow their business.
In a recent Huffington Post article, “How Video Marketing Will Change the Game for Marketers in 2016,” Vala Afshar of Salesforce illustrates in great detail the path of video relevance in marketing for all businesses – there’s a list 🙂 Here’s a staggering observation from his article:
In April of 2015, it was unveiled that over 4 billion videos were being played back each day on the Facebook platform alone. By September, this number had doubled to a staggering 8 billion video views per day. Cisco now predicts that 80% of all Internet traffic will be streaming video content by 2019, up from 64% in 2014. And in a recent market survey by research firm Demand Metric, 74% of B2B marketers reported that video now converts better than other content types.
This new demand for videos in your marketing will require you to start searching for some new video marketing toys to help you stand out from the “herd” of other marketers out there.
Taking it a step further, a recent Hubspot post, “
Midway through 2015, mobile video plays exceeded 44% — up 74% from 2014 and up a whopping 844% since 2012. (14) Between April 2015 and November 2015, the amount of average daily video views on Facebook doubled from 4 billion video views per day to 8 billion. (Source)
15) In July 2015, Periscope users were watching 40 years’ worth of videos every day. (Source)
16) In Q2 of 2015, mobile phones (34%) and tablets (15%) combined for 49% of video ad impressions — up from 38% in Q1 of 2015. Publishers saw PC impressions drop from 62% to 50% in the previous quarter. (Source)

While these number are very exciting if you are already using graphics and video in your marketing, they may be a bit daunting if you are still a bit hesitant to get in front of the camera (which isn’t even necessary).
It simply means that it’s time to dust off those new video marketing toys of yours and actually use them! Get started making some videos and sharing them – no matter what you are sharing or teaching – there is likely an audience hungry for the information! You just have to share it, and let them know it’s there!
I’ve got a few new video marketing toys that I love, one in particular is helping me take marketing to a new level.
Imagine if you could put a video right in your PPC banner, or add a video with text to your blog widget? Think…combine static image ads with video…. Wouldn’t that be cool? Now you can! Even better? You can build these banners in just a few minutes. I built my first one in under 10 minutes, and my third one in 4 minutes! Amazing, right?!
The new video marketing toy I’m talking about here is called Video Banner Pro, and it’s just released today! There are special deals and crazy bonuses, of course. This product is just so cool that you should really have it in your toy box for 2016. I used the software tool to build the banner in my sidebar here, and I also made a full-width banner that you can find on my other blog, for internet and affiliate marketers, IMProfitSchool.com.
Check out the video here with a bit of a review and demo of the product in action (that’s the full-width banner in the video).
